Located in Kibale National Park and formerly Kanyanchu River camp and now Primate Lodge Kibale run by Great Lakes Safaris. The new luxury wing opened on 1st July 2007.

The African traditional Bandas and camping grounds for Budget Travellers are in full operation and bookings are still going on as well.

The restaurant area has also been greatly improved and the service is above self.

The 8 luxury en-suite tents give confort and style that goes with luxury accommodation in the wild Africa.. In future we plan to replace the existing budget bandas with 4 units of new self-contained cottages but this will be at a later stage and you will be updated.

Then existing Sky Tree House will also be fully upgraded, and there are plans to expand with 3 extra tree houses.

To match the standard of the Luxury Tents opened in July 2007; a complete new restaurant has also been built at the current upper campsite, including a bar and lounge to relax.. The restaurant has an extensive / expanded menu and service of international standards.

There is also an internet point and at a later stage a sauna and steam-bath will be constructed as well.

Hence effective 1st July 2007, the price list for the luxury tents is here below:

Non Residents rates:

* Children aged 3-12 years pay a non commissionable fee of $50.usd per child per night sharing room with Adults on FB.

E .A Resident rates:

 * Children aged 3-12 years pay a non commissionable fee of $50.usd per child per night sharing room with Adults on FB.

* Children under 3 are provided with a baby cot OR can share with parents.

Prices for the African traditional Bandas and camping ground for Budget Travelers remain unchanged.
