At the Victorian source of the Nile the rapids roar as we plunge into the maelstrom to ride the legendary rapids of the mighty White Nile at the excitement of the local fishermen. Temperatures at 27 C you get to experience some of the best white water rafting on the planet.

With over 25 years of world wide operations we are proud to have led quiet a remarkable first descents- Blue Nile in Ethiopia, Indus- Pakistan and pioneered rafting in over 8 countries worldwide.

We have something for everyone hence no one enjoys the river more than our team of professional guides with offers ranging from the mild to the wild options on the river, from white water rafting trips to family float trips with a remarkable safety record.

One day whitewater rafting (31 kms)
This is grade 5 action offering the best white water rafting on earth includes transfers from Kampala, a fantastic buffet lunch on Wakisi Island and complimentary drinks after the trip, all the rafting equipment in all fitting sizes, professional guides, full safety briefing at that.

 

2/3 Day Rafting/Surfing trips (48 kms)
after an incredible action-packed first day, relax on our beautiful mid-river island. Downstream, the river behaves much like the ocean and you can ride the waves on our boogie boards. The boards dance across the waves and the rider can learn to carve gracefully back on forth on the wave at incredible speed. This should not be missed.
Family Float Trip (5 kms)
Fun for the whole family (ages 2-72 years). Drift past colonies of cormorants, open-billed storks, and weaver birds and fish eagles. Bounce down a handful of baby rapids and enjoy rafting with the generations.
2-day Family rafting (18 kms)
you won’t stop talking about it. This trip is ideal for children 5-years and older. They kids love the rapids and tend to spend their whole time leaping between rafts, on and off kayaks and floating on boogie boards. There are wonderful surfing options for Mums and Dads at ‘Nile Special’ and ‘Malalu’.
Nile High Bungee (44 metres)
Leap from one of the most spectacular sites in the world. Water touch the source of the Nile (it is the only jump over the Nile), tandem jump with a friend or ride off on your bicycle. Try the ‘Nile High Combo’ where you can bungee jump and raft in the same day.

Adrift/ Nile High Camp The most beautiful camp on the Nile.
Comfortable wooden chalets, safari tents, dormitories, cleaned tiled shower areas, hot water, internet access and a magic cliff-top bar. Home to Nile High Bungee and the start point for rafting trips.
Rwenzori Mountains (5109m)
These are the mystical ‘Mountains of the Moon’ long recognized as the snows of the Nile. This is the highest mountain range in Africa and an 8/10 day guided climb with Adrift is nothing short of incredible.
