Miss Uganda which took place at Lira Hotel saw Medina Agenorwot crowned Miss Uganda Northern Region, Audrey first runner up and Juliet Ogwang who is also Miss Lira as second runner up.

The 12 contestants from northern Uganda had what the western beauties lacked; confidence, a perfect catwalk and good brains, the qualities Miss Uganda 2008 is looking for.

The night was crowned with performances from Clever J with his Manze Wanane and homeboy P.S. Languna with his hit Jolina.
