The Commonwealth People’s Forum will be opened up by President Yoweri Museveni at Hotel Africana in Kampala on Sunday.

Over 600 participants from Uganda and other commonwealth civil society groups will attend the4-day event under the theme ‘Realizing the People’s Potential,’. The meeting will be held alongside an exhibition of cultural crafts and artifacts.

Don McKinnon, the Commonwealth Foundation secretary-general and director Mark Collins will also address the audience.
