HOTELS IMPRESS RUSSIAN TOURISTS

The group of 10 including two journalists and Russian tour operators who recently visited Uganda, were reportedly impressed by Kampala Serena Hotel and Ndali Lodge in Fort Portal, western Uganda.
The visitors advised that for the country to tap the lucrative upmarket and big spending tourists from Europe, local facilities and infrastructure like roads. They also advised that Uganda should maintain her presence in Russia by attending the two main International tourism exhibitions, in March and September each year.
The guest’s favourite products were sport fishing, wild life, boat cruises on the Victoria Nile in Murchison Falls and Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park, adventure sports such as white water rafting, mountain biking and quad biking, culture and the history of Uganda.The tour operators who left on April 22 and are now expected to sell Uganda as a destination of choice say overall, the country is a great place to visit.
