FIFA OFFICIALS INSPECT MAJOR HOTELS

April 26th, 2007 by Administrator

Federation of International Football Association (Fifa) security officials have inspected hotels ahead of South Africa for the 2010 World Cup.

This is after a revelation by the Fufa Chief executive Officer (CEO) that five time world champions Brazil and England aim to pitch camp in Kampala before they travel to Johannesburg. This is in bid to meet their fans as well as ease on congestion and accommodation problems they might face in South Africa during the World Cup. The officials inspected sports facilities and infrastructure including the Serena Hotel, ultra modern Mandela National Stadium Namboole, Mulago Hospital, Sheraton Hotel, Kampala International Hospital and Mbuya Military Hospital among others ahead of the tournament.

Very many teams have expressed interest to camp in Uganda and these may include stars like Baptista, Robinho and Kaka.
