Hotel Africana won a Silver award during the Investor of the Year Awards which took place at the Hotel.

Hotel Africana won the silver award for increased investment which stands at $6.2m as well as creating 60 new jobs. These were created with the recent expansion of the hotel to add on the 255 existing jobs.

Uganda Investment Authority executive director, Maggie Kigozi applauded the Hotel for providing world class tourism services and recreational facilities.
