Fairway Hotel has got a facelift in preparation with the CHOGM.

The hotel has acquired new furnishing, including beds and beddings. The Spanish bar is just one of many areas undergoing a facelift at the hotel in preparation for the Commonwealth meeting (CHOGM) next year and it now spots red walls, red settee and a view through sliding glass doors into the reception area.

General Manager, Krishna Kumar says they plan to start a new information point for visitors’ enquiries about anything. The garden café will also be expanded to cater for a larger clientele. Through an archway from the parking lot to the swimming pool area, is a bar, refurbished for the World Cup-crazy clientele.

“We are doing this to give better services to the people,” said Krishna Kumar
