The Hilton International vice-president Essam Abouda said that th e Hilton Hotel is a landmark development. This was during the launching and ground Breaking ceremony of the Hilton hotel to be built in uganda at Nakasero.

Abouda who said that Kampala Hilton Hotel is the group’s largest project in Africa, and said that the site (on Nakesero hill) is extremely magnificent, with a very beautiful view.

Abouda who said he welcomes healthy competition in the hotel industry, has worked for 26 years with Hilton International, which boasts of the largest hotel chain in the world with 2,750 hotels.

Kampala Hilton International will be managed by the Hilton Group. The hotel will bear the trade name of Hilton.
