HILTON HOTEL LAUNCHED

President Yoweri Museveni broke ground for the construction of a magnificent 22-storey Kampala Hilton Hotel..
The hotel is expected to employ 2,000 Ugandans when ready. The construction of the hotel will take 52 weeks. The hotel on 14 acres of land will raise Uganda’s revenue.
The lead architectural consultant of the hotel, John Sheiffert, said the hotel would be five-star and the “best in Africa, with high international standards.” It will have 292 guest rooms and presidential suites, a 500-metre square ballroom, spas, beauty salons, swimming pools, business centres and large garden pools.
