Arusha National Park
Today, we drive to Arusha National Park with picnic lunch,
the park is famous for its birdlife, we will have a game drive,
and hiking in the park enabling Us to get used to Tanzania
climate before the climb. Accommodation: Mt Meru Game Lodge

Day 3: ARUSHA TO MACHAME

4-6hrs hike, 9kms to Shira campsite - FB

Day 10: Tarangire National Park
AM 2hrs drive to Tarangire National Park and packed lunch.
Game drive in Tarangire National Park.

Day 11: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we leave Tarangire for Lake Manyara National
Park in
the Great Rift Valley. The park is home to tree-climbing lion,
colorful birds,
elephant and hippo. Game drive in Manyara for the rest of
the day.

Day 12: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, 08h30am, drive pass the malanja depression
and Plains, en-route
game viewing, visit Olduvai Gorge Museum, continue en-route
game viewing to
Naabi Park Gate.
( Naabi Park gate is the border of Ngorongoro Conservation
area and Serengeti
National Park ), here you can opted to do a short 15 minutes
designated Nature
Trail Walk on the Slopes of Naabi hill. You will enter Serengeti
National Park,
packed lunch and continue a further afternoon game drive in
Serengeti National
Park. Before 6pm we will drive to our overnight at Serengeti.
( good chance to see leopard, hyena, gazelle, lion, ostrich,
giraffe, buffalo
and many more animals )

Day 13: Serengeti National Park
We shall do a balloon safari and continue game drive in Serengeti
national park. Full day game drive of Serengeti National Park

Serengeti balloon excursion operating in Serengeti only, Eash
Balloon can take 16 persons and 2 balloons fly daily - subject

DETAILS:

5:00 am, Serengeti Balloon Safaris will collect you from your
central Serengeti lodge or camp, and transfer you by Landrover
to our launch site near Maasai Kopjes. Here you will meet
your pilot, receive a briefing and watch the inflation of
your balloon.
At
dawn we take off, rising as the sun rises and float in whichever
direction the winds of the morning take us. Your pilot can
precisely Control the altitude of your balloon: sometimes
flying at treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique
perspective and great photographic opportunities of
the wildlife below.
At
other times he will ascend to 1000' or more to see the enormity
and wonderful panorama of the Serengeti. From time to time
the pilot must Put more heat into the balloon with the powerful
whisper burners. In between these burns, there is silence
apart from the natural sounds below.
The
flight is for about one hour depending on conditions, on landing
you celebrate in the traditional manner with champagne (well,
an excellent sparkling wine), before sitting down to a full
English breakfast prepared and served in the bush in 'Out
of Africa' style with bone china, linen table
cloths, King's silver etc
After breakfast you receive your Serengeti Balloon certificate
and we drive you back to Seronera Lodge game viewing enroute.
9:30 am Arrive at Seronera ready to continue your day's activities.
Day 14: Serengeti National Park
Full day game drive of Serengeti National Park ( lunch or
Packed lunch,as game drive timing will depend on where Wildlife
can be best spotted). return to our overnight at Serengeti
Lodge ? FB

15: Ngorongoro Crater
Today we leave Serengeti for the crater, stopping enroute
at Olduvai Gorge for a private guided visit of this history-changing
archaeological site made famous by the Leakey family. We also
visit a Masai village to learn about their cultures and more.
We will arrive at the crater for afternoon game drive in the
crater, Accommodation: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day
16: NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast, descent onto the crater floor, game drive
on the crater floor. This is the only Park where, Black Rhino
could be spotted. packed lunch at a picnic site, and continue
game drive until late afternoon. You are allowed in the crater
for a maximum of 6hrs.( NOTE: The park gate on the crater
rim ascent closes at 6pm sharp )

Day 17: Ngorongoro / Arusha
/ Departure for Uganda.
Descend into Ngorongoro crater for another game drive in the
crater exploring the short-grass plains of the crater floor.
This extinct Volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lion,
leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many More games, then
drive to Arusha.

transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for the flight to Entebbe

18:Jinja
Go White water rafting that will take a half day. and in the
evening drive back to kampala. Over
night at Hotel Africana.

Day 19: Drive
to Entebbe to take up your boat to Ngamba Island Chimp sanctuary.You
will have a chance to watch the feeding of the chimps at 2pm.Over
night stay at G and C camp at the island.

Day 20:
Early morning entry into the forest with the young orphaned
chimps for the walk.After lunch will take the boat to Entebbe
and drive to kampala for over night stay at Hotel Africana.

Day 21:Murchision Falls NP
Begin the panoramic drive to the northwest through the famous
Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town to Murchison Falls National
Park, arriving in time for lunch at the spectacular situated
site at the top of the Falls where you can see the Nile's
beauty perfected! Marvel at the Nile, compressing from up
to one km squeezed through a 7 meter canyon dropping 150 meters
with a thunderous roar, creating a beautiful rainbow, a plume
of spray and the best thing that happened to the Nile 'The
Murchison Falls' enjoy the sunset as you return to the lodge.

Day 22.
Early morning game drive on the northern bank. Your guide
will help you spot elephant, lion, cape buffalo, roth child's
giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bush back, bohor reed
buck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. After a packed
lunch picnic, go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria
Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters
from the 'Devil's Cauldron', marvel at the toothsome hippos,
crocodiles and over the 17km stretch you may see elephant,
waterbuck and Uganda Kob. This is also the zone of many birds,
species like goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater,
kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork.
After taking shorts of the photogenic Murchison Falls, return
to Paraa Lodge or Nile Safari Camp for dinner and overnight.

All day drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant
countryside and pass traditional homesteads and farms. Fort
Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled 'Mountains of the
Moon'. Dinner and overnight at the tree house at Kanyanchu
Toursit centre.

24 Kibale Forest Np
An
half day search of chimpanzee and ten other primates including,
phoestes, red-colobus, red-tailed and Grey-cheeked Mangabey.
The guide will provide explanation, not only on primates,
but also on all the forest's fauna and flora and will insure
that your walk is both informative and enjoyable. This walk
is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primates at
close quarters. After the tracking relax and after lunch drive
to Bigodi ecological site for butterflies and bird viewing.Over
night stay at the tree house.

25.After morning breakfast,Proceed to Queen
Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain
Range. A game drive en route may yield viewing a lion, elephant,
leopard, buffalo, hyena and a variety of antelope species.After
lunch drive to the creator region for sight seeing.Visit Lake
Katwe salt factory to see local methods of making salt.

26:
An early game drive today. Queen Elizabeth National Park's
diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers,
swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible
abundance of wildlife. Game drives in this park, with the
massive Rwenzori as backdrop, provides excellent opportunities
to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, buffalo, elephant,
defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob,
topi and bushbuck. These two game drives and the boat trip
(taken prior) are memorable methods of discovering a vast
array of Ugandan wildlife. After lunch, Enjoy the unique 2-hour
boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward.
This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration
of hippos. This launch/cruise offers and excellent platform
for photography bird watching and game viewing. The prolific
bird life is colorful and stupendous, with well over 550 resident
species.

27: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP
Early drive to Kyambura gorge for chimp tracking in the rain
forest.Even if you fail to see the chimps,the forest walk
itself is rewarding and memorable! Drive through the 'Switzerland
of Africa area known as the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced
hillside and winding roads to Kisoro or Bwindi. Dinner and
overnight stay at Buhoma Home stead.

28
There will be an early morning entry into the gorilla sanctuary.
The rainforest is spectacular.
It offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly
dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal's trails allowing
access to tourists. Mammals recorded include the endangered
Mt. Gorilla, rare golden monkey, buffalo, elephant, black-fronted
duiker, bushbuck, leopard, giant forest hog and others. This
park is best known for the fascinating gorillas. The time
taken and the terrain varies according to the movements of
the marvelous primates. The thrill of spending time and observing
the gorillas is a rare moving, awesome and exciting adventure.
The gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is an unforgettable
experience to watch and photograph them as they interact.

29: Lake bunyonyi
Drive to Kabale a region known as the 'Switzerland of Africa'
with beautiful terraced landscape and rolling hills and valleys.

Day 30:
After breakfast, we do a boat ride inside Lake Bunyonyi to
various islands inside the lake for bird viewing and sight
seeing. Return to the Resort for lunch. After our lunch drive
to Kisoro and cross the border. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla
nest Camp in Rwanda. B,L,D

Day 31:
After early breakfast get set to Virunga volcanoes for another
trek of the Dian Fossey Mountain gorillas. There after lunch,(Option)
visit the Karisoke Research Centre where Dian Fossey spent
20 years studying gorillas.over night at Gorilla Nest Camp.

32:
Transfer to kigali for your international flight at Kanombe
international airport. Alternatively we drive back to Uganda
for your flight at Entebbe international airport. This will

to a hospital plus medication costs etc. However, its advisable
to have about cash USd 50pp which may be required for registering
at a hospital
and thereafter included in your medical insurance claim.
Gorilla
Tracking:
Gorilla tracking permits are sold very long in advance and
the minimum age is
16years to be allowed to go tracking.
Every
June the prices for gorilla tracking is reviewed of course
always upwards.
We therefore, pay and confirm the permits immediately the
safari is confirmed
with us to avoid price variations and hikes to our clients.
